A motto of the conscious dying movement is “No one dies alone.” Because no one doula can cover all the needs of the dying person, I’ve worked as part of collective of four doula practitioners. That was in Asheville, North Carolina. Since returning to Sonoma County, where I currently live, the Covid restrictions have made death doula services impossible in some settings. I look forward to our transformation and adaptation to whatever conditions may present themself, so that we may continue to provide comfort and meaningful experience to the dying. I’m always available for phone consultations, or to make referrals. In many cases, there are family members available to support the dying who would like the opportunity to receive counsel on the process of conscious dying.

All that I know now is partial…but then I will know everything completely.
